OK. I have been pushing many of my friends to do art, I think that everyone should do at least one art show in their life. I’m all about seeing people make it with and sell a piece, and get some recognition. When I see painting selling for $75 million dollars, I get nauseous. Apparently Rothko sold because of its size (9 and a half feet long) and its “tropical hues which are saturated as a sunset”.

Mark Rothko really did an amazing job on this job here, I really would love to buy this, look at it, marvel at its beauty. WTF? Sotheby’s crew should be very happy that some billionaire with an in impressive coke problem, and small pee-pee bought this junk. Sotheby’s auction was the biggest in history, pushing a  record of $375 million dollars.

Jackson Pollocks  “No 4”  Sold for $40.4 million, which is way better, kind of.
