You made quite the book here that’s spinning off into other projects, how was it putting this together with these crazy armed gremlins?

I bought my first gun when I was 15; it was a .30.30. We’d blow stuff up and kill animals. It was awesome. That’s what boys do when their kids unless you played with Barbie’s. I grew up with brothers and we’d play hard. I broke a lot of bones and teeth but we had good times. Guns were fun to play with. They made an impact on my childhood.

Photographers can’t capture smell. Which pictures in the book smelt the worst?

If I captured a smell it was of a hundred machine guns going off all at the same time in Kentucky filling the air with thunder and the smell of gunpowder. What could be better than that? Those who don’t get this haven’t experienced it. Many parents think they should bring their children to Disney World. I think parents should bring their kids to a machine gun shoot to truly experience life at it’s fullest.

What you think was the most emotional memory while chasing bullets in the book?

One of most memorable memories was drinking whiskey and shooting high-powered weapons at pieces of wood floating in the Marais des Cygnes River in Missouri with my friend Mark Muller who appears on the cover of my book. We talked about God and the battle between good and evil. It was great. I’ll never forget those first few days with the man who I’m spending a lot of time with now making a TV show.

What do you think of these Americans that run around with their guns, I mean what does this all mean, is it just a dirty hobby? I mean they did create the weapon in the first place.

Americans running around with guns are simply exercising their God given right to be free. The only time guns are a problem is when some nut-job shoots innocent people. Otherwise they are a vital part of keeping power in check. Without them, the government would enslave the people. Anyone who disagrees with this somehow believes that driving their Prius and drinking Starbucks will somehow magically make the world perfect. It’s all a lie.

Though you own a gun, so you are not an outsider or a photographer with no judgment, I mean you own a gun right? Its a magnum, why do you have it watched too many dirty harry movies?

I own many guns and I enjoy shooting them. I like the idea that if the shit hits the fan, I have a fighting chance to maintain some control. I can defend myself. The world can become the Wild West faster than you can think.

How is it to fire? Must be fun.

Firing guns is great. I’m more into long range shooting. I like the idea of being able to hit something consistently at 600 or 700 yards. One shot versus many. I like accuracy over firepower. Plus, ammo’s expensive. One day I’d like to be able to hit a target 1 mile away consistently.

What other guns have you fired? How was it?

Thanks to my friends at Battlefield Vegas, I’ve fired pretty much everything under the sun. Gun people are very generous and want you to shoot their guns. It’s an interesting culture.

Have you ever got kinky and used the gun in a sexual act with your wife or something?

No. Never.

How was the reaction when you released this book in America?

It was a hit. My book is controversial but it has done very well. I didn’t water it down. I wanted to present gun culture a raw, unflinching way. People see quality. I was ready to take a bullet to make my book. I dove in head first, balls the wall and fell in love with gun culture and all of the cool stuff that goes with it.

You’re not supposed to talk to much on this, though your book got you to make a reality show on history channel, we don’t have to go too into until its fully announced though it seems like guns obviously is a hot topic now. Though people are still dying, whether its a kid going through puberty that stares into his dads gun cabinet everyday, snaps one day and goes to school on a rampage, or a lunatic like Phil Spektor blowing his woman’s brains out. Do you think there should be more restrictions on guns in the US?

The TV show I’m currently working on is a direct result of my book. It stars the man on the cover, Mark Muller, who is my hero. He has a message for America; ‘Get out of my way pussies, America needs real men now.’

I’m a producer on the show and I’m pulling out all the stops to make sure this show is a hit. It’s going to take the world by storm and put the word real back in the word reality. Get ready, it’s coming July 2013. Stay tuned.

Like the Nazi uniform which was made by Hugo boss, is an evil way sexy. I talked to war veterans from World War 2, from America and UK, and they both said “Those damn Nazi’s deserved to die, though had one hell of a slick uniform”. Do you think that this is what it comes down to with guns, because it’s mildly sexy?

Yes, the Nazi’s were well dressed but that doesn’t excuse any of the deplorable stuff they did. Only a sick mind would ever think that somehow because these vermin were well dressed they didn’t deserve to be kicked under foot and decimated from the planet. What they did during World War 2 is another reason why a truly free people should arm themselves and be proficient with their arms to ensure a fascist state never has the ability to take over and enslave a people.

Your book is very sexy.

Yes, it is. Thank you. You can pick up a personally signed and numbered copy at http://www.godgunsgutsbook.com/order. It’s a great book and I am proud of it. You won’t find a better coffee table book or your money back. That’s my guarantee.
